Jami Dennis, Vice President of Placements and Corporate Backup Care Director

Jami is the Vice President of Placements and Backup Care Director at ABC Nannies and has been with our agency since 2003. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and Denver, Jami has her Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and her Master's degree in Sociology, with an emphasis in the feminization of poverty. She has worked in the childcare and the recruiting industry in a variety of capacities for over ten years. In addition, she also employs a full-time nanny to care for her son. Jami’s previous experience as a nanny, her personal experience as a nanny employer and her education are invaluable and allow her a unique understanding of all sides of the household staffing industry. When she’s not working, she sits on the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA), enjoys volunteering in her community, traveling and spending as much time as she can with her friends and family here in Colorado!

Felicity Roberts, Long-term Placement Consultant

Felicity is very enthusiastic about matching great nannies with wonderful families in the Denver metro area as a full-time Placement Consultant. A mother herself, she knows how important it is to find not only great care for your child but also the perfect match for the whole family. Originally from England, where she graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Applied Psychology and Computing, Felicity has been working with children and families for years; she's worked in a children's home for boys with emotional and behavioral difficulties, at a nursery caring for infants and toddlers, and in 2006 she moved to Colorado to nanny for a fantastic family in Larkspur. In her spare time she loves to be with her family and watch her little girl grow and learn new things. She also loves to travel and loves the challenge that new situations bring to her life. She caught the scrap booking bug since being in the States, which is great because she has a million pictures of her little girl and not enough wall space!

Megan Kronstein, Temporary Services Consultant

The full-time Placement Consultant in charge of our booming Temporary Service, Megan is the newest addition to our great staff! A native of Colorado, she grew up in Littleton and graduated from the University of Colorado with her B.A. in Elementary Education. Her internship in Denver Public Schools involved teaching a First/Second grade split and a Fifth grade classroom. During her internship, Megan had a great opportunity to volunteer at the Kemp Therapeutic Preschool, a partner of The Children’s Hospital. After graduating from college, Megan taught kindergarten at a private school in Lone Tree, Colorado. After building her experience in the classroom she made the transition into Human Resources and Recruiting/Staffing, where she worked for a total of four years before joining the ABC team. Now at ABC Nannies, she is able to combine her passion for working with children and parents with her experience in recruiting and staffing—a perfect blend! She works diligently to match the best nannies in Denver with our wonderful clients.

Jenny Velarde, Backup Care Placement Consultant, NY Division

Jenny is a Placement Consultant at ABC Nannies and is responsible for running our booming Backup Care Service in New York City and the surrounding territory. She works daily staffing our wonderful backup care nannies for employees luck enough to be provided this benefit by their employers. Jenny graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in the spring of 2010, with a major in theatre and minor in psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. After graduating, Jenny relocated to attend the New York University Graduate Program for Drama Therapy, in hopes becoming a drama therapist, and we are thrilled that she’s remained on staffed during this exciting time! Jenny has worked extensively with children for years in many capacities over the last eight years; not only has she been a nanny, but she has also worked with children of all ages in creative capacities, as she teaches art, theatre and music classes. Furthermore, Jenny also has experience working creatively with seniors and developmentally disabled adults. In her free time, Jenny enjoys doing theatre, painting and writing music.

Ginger Mylander Swift, Owner & President

Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.® in 1994 after working in the business world in sales, marketing and recruitment. She was a summer and part-time nanny through college where she attained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has worked in the clerical placement industry and was hired by one of her clients to work directly for them. She successfully staffed an entire sales and technical division of a computer company and headed up their sales and marketing for their consulting division. Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.® because she wanted to make a difference and nothing is more important than finding a caring person to take care of your children. Ginger has employed wonderful nannies (found through ABC Nannies, of course!) that provided excellent care for her two children. She is currently working from her home office assisting with the billing and marketing of ABC Nannies and works closely with her staff. She is also kept busy as a board member for the Alliance of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA).
